Event Details
At "The Gone Fishing Summer Camp" our youth will have three weeks of Fun, education, and exploration. Classes will teach the basic fundamentals of becoming an excellent an Angler. Allowing each participant to gain Angler skills and put those skills to work before Camp Finale Derby.
Lunch will be provided Wednesday - Friday. Students may bring their own lunch, water, fishing poles and supplies.
Classes include:
-A hands on fun filled fishing experience
-Identify the types of rod and reels
-How to assemble and use a rod/reels and their functions
-Rod and Reel Casting Exercises
-Bait and tackle knowledge
-Canoing
-Backyard Bass Fishing Game and other outdoor games.
Playground and bathrooms are available.
May 22nd Fishing Derby is Free and open to all family and friends.
Trophies will be awarded to the best fishermen.
